Tamil Participants at the Dharna

As the support and fervor of the dharna grew, the participants decided to add their local flavor to the dharna. They spoke, sloganeered, performed skits, sang and even danced to highlight the condition of women in their areas. Lal Salam to the sisters from Tamil Nadu.

The 6th Day of the Dharna

Understanding Violence The sixth day of the 21 day Dharna led by NFIW demanding the passing of the Women’s Reservation Bill in parliament was a day dedicated to understanding violence in various forms. The focus was on how justice is denied to women and the denial of justice is violence. For this the participants in
